Dear Membership,
Regarding the auto accident involving Lou Lacey and Laurena Saulsberry, the following correction needs to be made. Lou was not extricated from the auto by the Jaws of Life as I initially reported but he was severely injured. Jenna and Laurena were cut from the driver’s side doors. The car spun, it did not flip.
I apologize for relaying the message that was sent to me without more verification. We will exercise more due diligence in the future to ensure the information is correct.

Dear Membership,
Prayers up!!!! Friday morning two of our members along with family were involved in a serious auto accident on W Cheyenne and 95S. Their car was hit by a driver running a red light. Their car was hit hard enough to flip over. Lou Lacey our most senior member was in the rear and had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life. Laurena Saulsberry was also in the rear. Other passengers were Laurena”s daughter who was driving and Charlene Sanders. All were transported to the hospital by ambulance. Lou is still in the hospital with serious injuries but stable. Everyone else has been released with minor to moderate injuries. Lou’s son has requested no visitors at this time, so I will not provide the hospital. Prayers up for all that were injured, home and recovering. Especially Lou is 90+. Let us pause and offer up our prayers now.
