Long time energetic member of our club and ORTC League passed last night. Bob (Robert) Hodges had been missing from our bowling activities for some time due to various illnesses. Although not physically present his spirit was always there, especially in our ORTC League. Let us pause for a moment and offer of our prayers to his wife and family. Bob, we will miss you.

I just received updated information that corrects my previous email. Diane passed here in Las Vegas at her home while in hospice. Memorial service is TBD and when the information is received, notification will be sent to the membership. Prayers up for her family.

Once again I must apologize for this late email. I was under the impression, Kevin Ricks, was in/out of the hospital the next day only to find out he is still hospitalized and being monitored. Kevin has been hospitalized at the VA Medical Facility since last Tuesday. He is resting well but still very active as usual. Let us send up our prayers for his complete recovery.

Good Morning ORTC Membership,
Once again I must inform you of the passing of one of our members. Bob Burnett transitioned yesterday while at home hospice. Let us offer up our prayers to his family at this time. No other information is available at this time.
James Herman’s son has asked to send cards and or other forms of expressions of condolences to “James Herman Family, 4724 Cohiba Way, North Las Vegas Nv, 89031.”
James will be cremated and his celebration of life will be held in his home city San Francisco. There will be no services here. Please send your expressions soon as possible.

Good Morning ORTC Membership,
Regrettably, one of ORTC founding members, James Herman passed overnight. You may or may not know James but he has always been in the background and maintained his membership, always supporting ORTC in whenever way he could. Sometimes he would quietly drop by during a tournament to say hello, especially if Bingo was in session. In his last 10 years he has been hampered with several illnesses, often in and out of the hospital. We who knew him often joked that he had nine lives. This time, James said good-bye. James will be always remembered by his wit, binges on Facebook, his candor, and braggadocios comments highlighting his superior bowling skills. I enjoyed working with James in founding this club and still remember his insistence on why certain things needed be included in our club by-laws. Let us pray for James heavenly transition and support of his family in this time of need. James was originally from the Bay area of California. Goodbye my good friend.

I was just alerted that Robert (Bob) Burnett a prior long term member of ORTC has been sent home for hospice. Bob has had been afflicted for some time with different health issues. Sadly I need to announce the death of one of our long term members, Pete Woodruff. Pete was found deceased on a wellness check a couple days ago in his home. No other information is available at this time but will be provided when available.
Phyliss McDonald recently lost a close and dear cousin and has asked for our prayers.
Let us all pause and lift up our ORTC prayers for both the families of Pete and Phyllis in this time of need.

Pat Reynolds was a formal ORTC Member and Sister in Law of Joe Greenfield transitioned this morning. Pat was avid bowler and supported many of our activities before falling ill to her illness. She is survived by her husband Robert Reynolds who is Joe Greenfield’s brother in law. Let us all pause and send our prayers up in support of the Reynolds family.

Dear ORTC Membership,
Regrettably I must inform you that Leslie Hoffmire mother made her transition and is now resting with her beloved husband. Both of her parents are now together. Leslie sends her appreciation for your prayers but still asks for your prayers during this period of mourning.
Clarence Tabor has been reported as hospitalized. Prayers up for Clarence.
Prayers are important. I know we have some “old school” prayer warriors out there. Let us continue to pray for those in need to include souls who need prayer but don’t know how to ask. We are family.
